Where Are My Shows?

TvONE has been giving me all the chips I need with my sandwich lately, showing all of these amazing shows, and movies. One of my favorite movies is on The Jacksons An American Dream, I classify my favorite movies as me knowing over half of the script with the television on mute. Shoutout to Katie aka Angela Bassett for the best line EVER…”Go to bed Joseph, Go to BED,” as well as “I don’t want you, I don’t want you, I don’t want you NO MO.” LOVE IT!!!

This post is very random, but I was watching Living Single, Family Matters, Moesha, and New York Undercover today, and these shows are LEGENDARY especially back in the 1990’s. Most of these shows out now, have a DVD series, I don’t get it. Where are these series at Target, Walmart, to be honest I wouldn’t mind purchasing on Amazon. I just think its terrible that I only get one season tops when these shows had an excellent RUN.

These distributors who work with syndication have got to do BETTER! I already have my Martin seasons 1-5 in the box, where I can have all the Otis, Shenaynay, along with the antics of Tommy, Gina, Cole, and Pam….please don’t forget Bra' Man. Now I’m ready for these other shows to join the bandwagon because the shows on now just don’t give me all the syrup for my pancakes.

Woah I just thought about the ole school Nickolodeon, those were the dayssssss (All in the Family reference), oooooo and the ole school Nick at Night, when they showed Three’s Company, I mean I love George Lopez and Everybody Hates Chris, but cmonson (insert my glasses and expression.)

How do you feel about this, better yet what was your favorite show, and episode from your era?

Memoir Details, I Need YOUR Opinion!!!

It is so late at night, well let me rephrase: it is so late in the morning J Thanks to tv1, I am watching Fame, Debbie Allen BETTER give it to me, or don’t give it to me at all (credit Melanie Fiona) but anywoo this post is about creativity, and I would love your HONEST opinion in order for my creative juices to continue to FLOW.

As you all know I am in the process of editing my book. With editing comes revisions and more ideas. One of the reasons I started my book, well I like to refer to it as a memoir, because good ole Webster says that is a persons account of their experiences. I keep going off on tangents, I believe that is why I haven’t finished.

Let me begin this straight NO CHASER:

I am writing this memoir in order to give a personal account of my experiences, in order to help others in this thing we call life. Everyone goes through it, and I get so many messages on how to help people get through, and I want you all who partake in this to know that everyone has pressures, and hopefully I can help get YOU through. I wanted my first work to be more than just your average self help book, I wanted people to know that everyone goes through and its not always as perfect as it seems on the outside.

So my question to you all is simple: would you like it straight no chaser aka bare chicken with no SKIN? Or would you like the approach just like it is on my show? Juicy with all the skin like I'm chatting with you……

I believe I know the answer but this is my first body of work, and I do want to know what my viewers would like to read!!

Chris Brown Interview with Robin Roberts

Well Well Well, Chris Brown has his chance on 20/20

Ultimately the interview was what I thought it would be, just like it was with Sway on MTV. He keeps repeating himself in every interview; he is very sorry, and he knows he was wrong. Chris is not going to go into detail about that night, because it will be one word against the other. Plus he is under the court system, he can’t say but so much, as well as his new album is due next week. DUH!! To be honest we all know what happened, plus how many times can he say he is sorry; for the public either you support him or not; for Rihanna either she forgives him or not.

Robin Roberts always does good interviews, she’s not aggressive, and she isn’t RUSHY in her approach, so kudos to her. As far as will MissP give Chris Brown’s new album Graffiti a chance? I sure will, I like Chris Brown as an artist, don’t agree with his past doings but hey he is still an artist. Crawl is one of my favorite jams right now, and you must admit the boy can carry a tune. I just hope this album is better than his last one, his debut is still my favorite. Will you buy Graffiti?

Video Phone Premiere

Loving this video, a new one from Beyonce featuring Lady GaGa. This is off of I am Sasha Fierce, and I must say I like this song, and this video is just WOW!!

The creative direction is just wonderful, you have fiftylevenmillion different poses going everywhere, Lady GaGa comes out of no where, and all the mens just a dancing.

I like the different looks, and the dance breakdown with GaGa; I can actually see GaGa's face, I'm shocked.

Tell your neighbor CREATIVITY, and it is FAR better than the videos I have seen from the album. One downfall, where in the world did the guns come from boo boo, ummm blank stare.

Chris Brown "Crawls" on Wendy Williams

I actually like Chris Brown's latest single "Crawl," but the video left me a little confused, but he did premiere it on the Wendy HOWUDEWIN Williams show.

I love this SONG, LOVE IT!!!

Now the video for Dirty Money's Love Come Down has been released, and I must say I feel like this is an old Bad Boy video, with the flashing lights, the outfit changes, and being all up in the shot.

Not sure when the album will officially drop, but I'm very interested in hearing it....it will be out top of 2010.

Alicia Keys New Album Cover

Someone tell your neighbor December 15, 2009!

That is when Ms. Alicia Keys new album drops, I'm not sure how to feel, because Alicia always delivers on her albums, but lately she has disappointed me. I'm not fond of her new single, but just like her first singles on past releases I was jamming within a few weeks, this one I'm still pressing the skip button on the iPod.

She released this new album cover, after a supposed fan-made cover was floating around the net. Although I'm confused with the direction, I will be supporting this effort, and her team was thinking correct since it's around the Christmas rush.

As far as the cover, it is most definitely DIFFERENT, not what I was expecting. She always has nice album titles, so hopefully the music do it justice.
